New smartphones feature massive batteries, advanced design, and AI integration

Global technology brand Xiaomi has launched two new smartphones, Redmi 15 and Redmi 15C, in the Nepali market. The company says both models are designed to combine powerful performance with stylish design and long battery life.
The Redmi 15 comes with a 7,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging, effectively allowing it to double as a power bank. It features a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, TÜV Rheinland triple eye-care certification, and IP64 splash and dust protection. Powered by a Snapdragon 685 processor, the device is equipped with a 50MP AI dual camera and 8MP front camera, expandable storage up to 2TB, and runs on HyperOS 2 enhanced with Google Gemini AI.
The Redmi 15C, with a slimmer 7.99mm design, offers a 6,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, and 10W reverse charging. It includes a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra processor, 50MP AI dual camera, and expandable storage up to 1TB. The device also runs on HyperOS 2 with AI-powered features and carries IP64 certification.
Both phones are now available in Nepal in multiple color options. The Redmi 15 is priced at Rs. 18,999 (6GB+128GB) and Rs. 21,999 (8GB+256GB), while the Redmi 15C is priced at Rs. 14,999 (4GB+128GB), Rs. 16,499 (6GB+128GB), and Rs. 18,999 (8GB+256GB).
Xiaomi stated that the launch aims to provide Nepali users with "exceptional battery life, smooth performance, stylish design, and smart AI features."
