Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.
Till date, 2,136,309 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 2,048 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 71 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 1,535.
88 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 273,351.
As many as 136 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 269,755.
Meanwhile, no fatality was reported by the Ministry today. The country's COVID-19 death toll remains at 2,061.
As of today, the country has witnessed 273,351 cases of the coronavirus infection while 269,755 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 2,061 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
