The second wave of Covid-19 pandemic has become a tough test for Nepal as it has become for many countries.

People are not only suffering due to the contagion and its direct effects but are also having trouble due to stress and mental disturbances which accompany the disease.

According to the report prepared by the Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation, mental health disorders including depression, increased alcohol use, and increased opioid use are among the six drivers of all-cause mortality that is related to the pandemic and social distancing mandates that came with the pandemic.
