NAMI students participate in e-waste workshop
After the presentation there was an open discussion session where audience got to ask questions to the presenters. This part was the highlight of the event and provided recommendation for policy draft. To sum up, Kedar Rijal, Head of Department, Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University gave a speech. The programme ended with the closing speech by Bishnu Thakali, President of WEPCO.
The workshop helped acquire policy draft recommendation for e-waste management. It also helped the interns to acquire valuable knowledge. For the participating students, it was an opportunity where they got real-world exposure.
