When teachers change often
Education plays a vital role in a person’s life and it can determine a person’s future. And our students go to college to get education to find a path for their future. However, in Nepal’s case changing of teachers is an regular practice — teachers change even in the same session. While some students find this change a problem, some take it as a solution to their problem.
Sangita Shrestha talks to some college students on how they cope with such changes of teachers in college
In our college, teachers are not replaced. But if the teaching method of a teacher does not satisfy the students, then the students tend to ask the management to change that teacher. Mostly teachers who teach and explain in English, without using the Nepali language, have been changed by the students. It is better for the management of the college to have an observation class and ask students if they are satisfied with his/her teaching style.

I get confused when there are two teachers for one subject. The teaching method of one teacher is different from the other, and sometime I feel that it would be better to have a specialised teacher for special topics. But then again there are times when I question why do we have two different teachers for the same course? But it all depends on the student as well how s/he works to learn in a better way. And I have a mixed feeling on having two teachers for one subject.
