KATHMANDU: After completing the first round of competition on March 24, the Tuborg Dohori Pratiyogita 2066 is entering the second round on March 25.

In the battle of words and wits on March 24, the teams competing against each other were New Bhanjyang Dohorii Sanjh (Gwarko) with Lali Gurans Dohori Sanjh (Buspark), Ramailo Chautari (BaghBazar) with Kantipur Dohori (Teenkune) and Him Sagar Dohori (Balaju) with Lumbini Dohori Sanjh (Harihar Bhawan). In the competition between the Phewa Rodhi Club (Thamel) and Shanti Dohori Sanjh (Thamel) and Nagakot Dohori Sanjh and Pokhara Dohori Sanjh (Thamel), Shanti Dohori Sanjh

and Nagarkot Dohori were announced the winners due to a walkover.

During the event Bimala Dangi, Dagar Bohara, Shakuntala Thapa, Nabin Poudel, Nisha Sunar

and Kalika Rokka entertained the crowd with their popular numbers.

The weeklong dohori competition has been entertaining dohori lovers of the Valley to the fullest. The event is presented by Gorkha Brewery and organised by Lok Sangeet Uthan Sangh.
