POKHARA: The third International Mountain Film Festival has commenced at Pokhara City Hall, Newroad in Pokhara on Thursday.

Pokhara Film Society with support from Nepal Tourism Board and Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City, has organised a three-day festival where 43 national and international vocumentaries would be screened, Festival Coordinator Saroj Sapkota informed.

More than 900 films from over 100 had applied for participation in the festival. However, the organizers have short listed 43 films- 26 Nepali and 17 foreign- infused with positive messages.

Films would be screened in Barahi chowk of Lakeside at 6:00 pm Thrusday and in Rammandir Chowk on Friday.
