A triple for Taylor at Nashville Music Awards

NEW YORK: Taylor Swift has added another three awards to her prize shelf after picking up Artist, Songwriter and Country Album of the Year accolades at the Nashville Music Awards on Wednesday (07Oct09).

Lady Antebellum claimed Best New Artist and Jack White was named Best Instrumentalist at the low-key ceremony held at the Cannery Ballroom in Nashville, Tennessee.

American Idol winner David Cook's The Time of My Life was named Song of The Year.

Other winners included The SteelDrivers (Best Bluegrass Album), Sarah Siskind (Best Americana Album), Kings of Leon (Best Pop/Rock Album) and Jars of Clay (Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Album).

Elvis Costello's album Secret, Profane and Sugarcane earned the Brit the Made in Music City Award for a recording made in Nashville by a non-resident.
