MUMBAI: Aamir Khan, who turned 45 on March 14, has desired to work with Amitabh Bachchan. Bachchan had earlier jokingly said that he would work with Khan, only if he directs the film.

Khan recently said in an interview, “I have always been a big fan of Amitabh. I have been looking forward to getting the chance to work with him for a number of years now. So far, the right thing has not come up. I’m hoping that it will happen soon.”

He added, “I will be thrilled to direct him. But the material has to be right. It should be something that excites both of us.”
