A slew of A-list actors like Kevin Spacey and Will Smith are vying for a part in Oscar winning director Steven Spielberg’s new movie The Trial of the Chicago 7.

The film is set to go into production later this year and will commence once Spielberg is done with the promotional work for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Contactmusic.com reports that the cast list has yet to be finalised and the only actor to have been signed for the movie is British comic Sacha Baron Cohen. He will star as the 60s hippie satirist Abbie Hoffman.
