Mumbai: After the Akki Narula - Suneet Varma fracas over the Bunty Aur Babli poncho, this one comes like skeleton from closet. Delhi based designer Manav Gangwani has accused Bollywood designer Vikram Phadnis of duplicating his creation and using it to dress Priyanka Chopra for the film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.

The outfit in question is the red and navy blue worn by Priyanka in the song Lal Dupatta. It was originally showcased in Gangwani’s fall/winter 2003 bridalwear collection. Phadnis however claims that he’s never met Gangwani nor has he ever seen his clothes.

Manav however has no intentions of dragging Sajid Nadiadwala, David Dhawan or Priyanka Chopra in this controversy. — Agencies
