London:

Singer Amy Winehouse, 24, has been arrested for obstructing justice, the Scotland Yard said. Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil is in custody on charges of grievous bodily harm against the chief witness in another trial.

The soul singer has been making more headlines in recent times for her drug and alcohol abuse than for her music. The singer recently cancelled all her concerts until the end of the year, citing health problems.

At the beginning of December, she was nominated for six Grammy Awards in 2008.
