Animal stories

Munchkins are short-legged cats with stocky body. These breeds can be shorthaired or longhaired. Their body is moderately broad and medium sized. The head is round with ears set at corner. Ears are triangle shaped, moderately large and full at base. The large walnut shaped eyes are set wide apart and the outer corners slightly upward giving an open, alert expression. The tail is thick with tapers to rounder tip and the length is in proportion to the cat’s body.

Munchkins are also known as magpies, often borrowing small, shiny objects and stashing them away for later play. These breeds can do anything an ordinary cat can do, except leap to the top of the bookcase. They can get on the kitchen counter, but they take the scenic route. Being proficient hunters, they love a good game of catnip mouse. They want attention like any other pets.

Munchkins make wonderful pets. They get along well with children, other cats, dogs and pretty much anything you care to introduce them to. They are a bold cats, and don’t behave any differently because of their size.
