KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) is holding the KCM Cultural Week 2005 from November 17 to 19. This is an annual even that was started in 2003 mainly to raise funds to carry out social and voluntary activities.

Part of the proceeds from KCM Cultural Week will be donated to Nepal Bal Sangathan.

The week kicks off with the staging of the English play The Great Catharine (by GB Shaw) on November 17 at the Royal Nepal Academy at 4:30 pm.

On November 18, the musicians will get a chance to flaunt their talents at the Inter-college Music Competition at the KCM premises on from 11 am onwards. Music fanatics from eight colleges will be on stage at the programme.

The week will end with KCM Concert and Food Festival at the Jawalakhel Ground on November 19 from 12:30 pm. Your favourite bands like 1974 AD, Robin n The New Revolution, Abhaya and The Steam Injuns and Nepsydaz will be performing. The top three bands from the Inter-college Music Competition will also do their gig.

Various restaurants of the city will put up stalls to cater to the foodies at the concert.
