Asahi beer launched

KATHMANDU:

For the beer-crazy folks in the Capital, here’s another reason to be happy — Asahi Super Dry, a leading Japanese beer has just hit the Nepali market. The beer, which is said to leave very less after taste, was launched amidst a programme here on May 18. It hit the Japanese market some 20 years ago and is relatively soft.

The beer offers a refreshing good taste and drinking pleasure, said Dinesh Shrestha of Evolution Trading, which is marketing the product here.

According to a press statement released at the launch, the beer uses rare yeast, which produces an elegant and sophisticated flavour with a pure, crisp and dry taste.

For now, the beer will be available in retail only at Kathmandu’s leading departmental stores with a price tag of Rs 135 per 350 ml can.
