Babina is addicted to watching Sony and Star Plus serials. She says, “Starting right from 8:45 pm I hardly have any time to waste as the entertaining soaps starts one by one. They are so realistic even if they are not that good.” Besides watching ‘Kasauti Zindagiki’, ‘KKusum’, ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi’ — her favourites among others — she also likes listening to music. She begins her music list, which is shorter, “I only listen to English numbers. I like Beatles and Nirvana.”

Music refreshes this Scorpio girl whenever she is down and lonely and she dislikes people who gossip behind your back. She says that she is a shy person and her aim in life is “to be a successful woman”. Babina completed her Higher Secondary Education from Kanya Campus, Pokhara and at present is doing nothing important except waiting for her results. Babina stands at 5’1” and she states that a year ago she was crowned the second runner-up in the ‘Miss Paschhimanchal’ contest. She tells us that there are many who inspire her, “My friends encouraged me to participate in Lux Beauty Stars selection and now the title of ‘Lux Beauty Star 2004’ means a lot to me. I think the organisers are giving us a chance to learn and experience new things. What really matters to me is that the event is giving me a good platform to learn about modelling.” As for the modelling scenario in Pokhara she says, “it is slowly developing.”
