Bal Mandir fest from today

KATHMANDU:

The foster home for children since over three decades, Nepal’s Children Organisation has been unrelenting in its selfless service for deprived children. Also known as Bal Mandir, it has been a shelter for the hundreds of needy, homeless, differently-abled and conflict-hit children.

In yet another effort to support these children, Bal Mandir is set to organise Wai Wai Bal Mandir Mahotsav 2063 marking the auspicious occasion of Bada Dashain from September 15-16 at Bal Mandir premises, Naxal, Kathmandu.

The major attractions of the fair will include a book fair, exhibition of various educational materials, game stalls, food festival, magic show, horse and elephant riding, inter-school dance competition, baby talent show, face painting, art exhibition and the most exhilarating of all a line-up of live performances by some of Nepal’s most popular bands and singers like Nepsydaz, Preeti Kaur, Kranti Ale, Bishow, Looza, Cobweb, Abhaya and Steam Injuns, COD and many others.

The event is a fundraiser and the proceeds from the festival will go for the welfare of the children.
