Bangladeshi's bird photo exhibition begins in Capital

KATHMANDU: A solo photo exhibition has begun in the Capital today, featuring pictures of birds captured by Bangladeshi photographer Jalal Ahmed.

The three-day exhibition kicked off at the Nepal Art Council in Babarmahal today.

The Bangladeshi Embassy in Kathmandu has put on display 50 photos, including 40 from Bangladesh and 10 from Nepal.

Bangladeshi Ambassador to Nepal, Mashfee Binte Shams, inaugurated the photo exhibition and termed such programmes as fruitful to know the similarities between the two countries and enhance cultural exchanges between the nations.

Nepal Academy of Fine Arts Chancellor Ragini Upadhyay spoke of similarities between the cultures of Nepal and Bangladesh. She added that the Academy was working with the Embassy to strengthen bilateral ties.
