There aren’t many nine-year-olds with their own TV show or nominated for a Daytime Emmy award in the best performer in a children’s series category.

But, Bindi Irwin, host of Discovery Kids’ Bindi The Jungle Girl and daughter of the late ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Steve Irwin, is just such a nine-year-old.

Bindi — and her mom Terri Irwin, a naturalist and animal activist in her own right — visited The Early Show on June 13 to talk about her show and her exciting night to come on the Daytime Emmy red carpet.
