Borat’s wedding date dilemma
NEW YORK: Comic actor Sacha Baron Cohen has reportedly put his wedding plans with actress fiancée Isla Fisher on hold due to religious issues. According to the sources, after the birth of their daughter Olive, Fisher was supposed to convert to Judaism, but the process is taking too long as planned partly due to her career, reports New York daily News.
A source has even revealed the Aussie beauty’s relationship with Borat star’s mother has been strained after the former decided to quickly returned to work after Olive’s birth, and spent most of the summer filming Confessions of a Shopaholic.
However, Baron Cohen is not worried about the strained relationship between his bride-to-be and mother, and is “happy taking his time to get married the same way he was happy having a long engagement.” Meanwhile, Fisher’s publicist has refused to reveal whether the couple have set a date.
