Let’s get sporty

Suryodaya school recently held its Sports Day. While the senior students had participated in sports like basketball, football, table tennis, cricket, and the juniors had the time of their life on the day participating in different events like hanky hanging, banana race, balloon bursting, three-legged race, spoon race among others. Fun at school fete

Triyog’s annual school fete was held on November 4 on the Hyatt Regency premises. There were different game stalls that were thronged by the visitors. The concert by The Limestones got the crowd tapping their feet. The drink and food stalls made brisk business. The fun fair attracted a good crowd and was a grand success. Meanwhile, the prize distribution of the Inter-house Elocution Contest was held on October 30. The contest had been organised on October 19-20. Aayusha Shrestha, Sija Tripathi, Dipali Poudel, Sneha Khanna and Bishakha Karki were adjudged the best winners from Class I, Primary, Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories respectively. Fun run

The students and teachers of Seto Bangala School took part in the Samsung Kathmandu 5km Fun Run 2006 that was held in conjunction with the Association of the International Marathon and Road Races (AIMS) on October 2.
