Quiz time at MIS
The Modern Indian School on May 7 organised an inter-house quiz competition in which two students from each house took part. The quiz, which consisted of three rounds, included question-answer, audio visual and rapid fire rounds. The audience was also quizzed. The first place was bagged by Gaurishankar while Kanchenjunga, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri stood second, third and fourth respectively. — Parul Nadar
New captains, prefects
The investiture ceremony of the Captains, Vice-captains and the Prefects of Triyog High School took place on May 2. They were given official recognition as they were handed a sash each along with a badge by the school principal. The class toppers for the session 2005-06 were awarded certificates and prizes on the same day. Students’ council
The investiture ceremony was organised at the Kendriya Vidyalaya on May 5 at which Prabhat Kumar, nominee chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee, was the chief guest. He was accompanied by Dr Baniya, vice chairman of PTA. The elections had been held on April 5. The school appointees were administered the oath and given a badge and sash each by the chief guest. “With power comes responsibilities and I wish you all the best to handle responsibilities with sincerity and skill,” said Kumar addressing the new student council-Nagesh B
