Debate competition:

On August 11th 2005, Shuvatara school organised an interhouse Nepali Debate competition for classes 8, 9 and 10. The competition was organised to combat decline of the use of Nepali language. The vice principal, Mrs Milan K C said that Nepali debate competitions should be held from time to time to enhance use of Nepali language. The topic for the debate was Dhan bhanda maan thulo (What matters — wealth or a good heart). There were 30 participants. Sabrina Singh bagged the first prize. Alisha and Krishna came second and third.
