LONDON: Hollywood action-comedy star Jackie Chan has been polled to be the vice-chairman of the China Film Association.

Chan and other prominent Hong Kong filmmakers have joined the association in order to tie together movie-making in Hong Kong and China, reports contactmusic.com.

The China Film Association organises China’s main movie festivals — the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers film awards.
