KATHMANDU: Chef Santosh Shah has made it to the final three in the Master Chef UK – The Professionals.
In last night’s penultimate round, Chef Santosh made lamb marinated in spices with fermented mustard greens that was served with bone marrow curry sauce and a mint paratha. Guest chefs and the judges appreciated his cookery and talent.
Likewise, he prepared crab curry with fried rice, and chocolate, raspberry and carrot pudding as the second dish which was dedicated to someone special — his loving mother.
The love that went into Santosh’s culinary tribute to his mother was plain to see. What a story. ❤

Reflecting Nepali pride with Dhaka topi and Bhadgaunle topi, Shah was extremely delighted, and emotional as well, for all the appreciation and praise coming his way.
Judges were happy to see his passion and love towards his mother and congratulated him for his ‘incredible creation’.
He and two other talented chefs Alex Webb and Bart van der Lee will be competing for the title of Master Chef — The Professionals tonight.
