Connery in neighbourly dispute

LONDON:

Things turned ugly between Sir Sean Connery and his eye specialist neighbour recently, what with the cops being called in.

The hullabaloo happened over work being done by the former James Bond

star on his house in Manhattan, New York. As it turns out, Sir Sean owns the top two floors of the house while his neighbour, Dr Burton Sultan, owns the bottom four. Sir Sean began renovating his portion of the house back in 2001, and the two men have repeatedly sued each other since then.

According to The Sun, Dr Burton called the cops this time claiming that the veteran star was carrying out illegal building work. Planning officials however, later said that the builders had broken no rules. Dr Sultan, for his part, is convinced that Sir Sean is carrying out the work because he wants to run him and his family out of the building.

He said, “He just wants us out.”
