Date with Idols

KATHMANDU: You’ve rooted for them, voted for them, now you can watch the first female Indian Idol Sourabhee Debarma perform live with Idol finalists Kapil Thapa and Torsha Sarkar here in Nepal.

After having written history by becoming the first girl to win the title of

Indian Idol, Sourabhee along with

Kapil and Torsha will be performing in Kathmandu and Pokhara on March 14 and 15 respectively.

Dubbed by the Idol judges as ‘Indian Shakira’, Sourabhee is described as a complete Idol package — great performance to match her great voice.

Kapil, obviously a favourite with the public here, is also a fantastic performer, while Torsha packs a powerful voice.

All three will share with none other than our own Kranti Ale. A popular singer, Kranti has given us hits like Sarkari Jaagir.

That’s not all the good news about this concert — Seagram’s Royal Stag Indian Idol Live In Concert — that is brought to you by Annapurna Post and supported by TV Max Pvt Ltd. You can even win tickets to the concerts. All you have to do is type and send it to 2722. Twenty winners will be chosen daily: these will be published in The Himalayan Times and Annapurna Post.

The event is managed by DMI, which has also managed the coordination of the artistes, who will be staying at Soaltee Crowne Plaza (hospitality partner). The official voting partner of Indian Idol from Nepal was THT Live 2722 that enabled voters from Nepal to directly

vote for their favourite contestants.

So, get out your brollies and caps and your indomitable spirit to have fun and keep your date with the Idols.
