DHARAN:

The screening of old American movies that depict life in the US in the real sense began in Dharan on May 17. The movies being are screened at Ar-my Club, while the three-day event

is organised by Himal Association and Dharan Jaycees.

Movies like Antz, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Men of Honour, Mr Smith Goes to Washington, Stand and Deliver, A League of Their Own and In America will be screened, event coordinator Jesse Sandeep Shakya said.

Executive director of Himal Association Basanta Thapa said the event was organised to educate people about real America. Chairman of Dharan Jaycees Bishnu Baral said it might be able to educate the youth who are ready to give up everything to go abroad.
