Disney theme park removes Cosby’s statue

LONDON: American comedian Bill Cosby’s statute has been recently removed from a Disney theme park in the lieu of confessions the comedian had made in court that he drugged women before sex.
The 77-year-old comedian’s statute had been part of a Hall of Fame exhibit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park in Florida, reported the BBC. Also, calls are mounting for other public tributes to The Cosby Show star to be removed. However, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art has issued a statement that revealed that it would continue to display artworks lent to the institution by Cosby and his wife Camille.
Cosby is facing a series of sexual assault claims dating back decades and the documents unsealed recently revealed that the comedian obtained Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with.
