Doherty enjoys special facilities in jail
LONDON:
Troubled rock star Pete Doherty has been given a jail cell all to himself and a bunk with two mattresses as preferential treatment. Doherty was jailed for missing numerous drug tests but is getting good treatment in jail, which has upset other inmates, reports thesun.co.uk.
A source said, “He’s in the segregation unit because of who he is as he could be vulnerable. He’s been put on enhanced privileges, which means he can have virtually what he wants. That includes an extra mattress, TV and radio. It’s basically five-star treatment, which takes most prisoners weeks of good behaviour to achieve.”
