Dynamite charged with punching officer
LONDON - Hip-hop singer Ms Dynamite has been charged with punching an officer in the face after police arrested her for allegedly kicking the door of a west London nightclub. She was celebrating her birthday with her brother. She allegedly became abusive when officers confronted her while she was kicking the front door of the Paragon Lounge.
Police said she was taken into custody and punched a female officer, bruising the officer’s nose. Dynamite, 25, was charged with disorderly conduct and assaulting an officer.
Her brother, Kingsley Daley, a businessman, was charged with obstructing police work. Both were released on bail and scheduled for a hearing on Friday. Her 2002 album “A Little Deeper” won Britain’s Mercury prize.
