Thousands of fans at the Isle of Wight Festival in England paid tribute to the late British rock star David Bowie over the weekend.

Festival organiser John Giddings, urged fans to wear "Starman" masks, while musicians Andrea Corr and Gary Kemp sang the famous hit song released by Bowie in 1972.

The "Rebel Rebel" and "Let's Dance" singer died of cancer in January, aged 69
