KATHMANDU:

The Durbarmarg had come alive last October during the Durbarmarg Street Festival. With the idea to recreate that same magic and give the Capital’s denizens a reason to celebrate Saturday with family and friends in a relaxing way, the fourth Durbarmarg Street Festival is being organised on May 12.

The day promises to be one filled with entertainment. So to make you sing and dance, the country’s leading musicians and bands will be performing at the festival.

Get ready to sway to the beats of 1974 AD, Mt 8848, Annayas, Rajan Ishaan, Agantuk, Nepsydaz, Cloudwalkers, Mausami Gurung, DA69 and Unity, Cobweb, Nalina Chitrakar and Sugam Pokharel.

The restaurants that line Durbarmarg will hold food stalls lined with goodies for you to munch on as you enjoy the day of fun. And also the various retail outlets here will be offering special discounts for the day to all shoppers.

The funds generated from the street festival will be used in the development works of the Durbarmarg area.

The event is organised by Durbarmarg Development Authority in association with Surya Nepal’s brand Shikhar Filter, and Springwood.

The fun starts at 11:00 am.
