Fresh, pleasant, youthful

Kathmandu:
Music is the food of life and one has to touch the inner chords of a person’s heart in order to make it good music. In fact good music is something that emanates from those abysmal depths of emotions that make words vibrant and full of life. Fresh, pleasant and youthful is the impression one would get on hearing the melodious tunes of Amir Deula who has recently come out with his first album named Style. The album is produced, manufactured and marketed by Taal Music, which is already a big name in the market. Deula’s music is of a kind where one can feel the sparkle and innocence of first love. Soft pop is the basic genre of his music which has a nice contemporary touch to it. The album comprises eight songs of which most are written and composed by the artist himself.
Prominent artistes have also been featured in many songs. The first song of the album, “Sapanako Mel” has the famous rapper of Rappaz Union, Nirnaya putting in his voice mix. “Let the love be our strength, my love” is the punchline in the song “Sapanako Mel” which adds to the romanticism of the number and also matches the contemporary tastes of the audience. Sugam Pokharel has composed the music for the number “Timilai ta mero kuraa” which of course is as touching as his other tunes. Though all the numbers are very well sung and have beautiful lyrics, the number “Tasbir herdai timro” had a special feeling in it where a lover is missing his partner and is looking at her portrait replenishing his memories saying “Jaba sanjh dhalchha, yaad badchha”. Most songs are romantic in nature and will definitely tease the senses of couples who are experiencing the best of times in love. In fact, Deula’s voice does have a few touches of Nabin Bhattarai and sounds as harmonious. This new kid on the block is definitely going places!
