Girl’s store-bought eggs hatch into ducklings

A 10-year-old girl has managed to hatch two eggs that she bought in her local supermarket! Jessica persuaded her parents to let her put six eggs into an incubator instead of eating them. Two of the eggs have hatched into tiny ducklings four weeks after they were bought, and Jessica has named them Splash and Splosh. The family decided to try the experiment because they were curious about the name on the packet which read Gladys May’s Braddock Whites which are a rare breed of duck. They hoped at least one of the eggs may have been fertilised — so it could hatch — if it was incubated properly. The egg finally hatched and was followed by a second duckling just hours later.
