Kathmandu: Women Entrepreneurs and Kathmandu Handicraft Association in association with Kathmandu Municipality are organising a ‘Handicraft exhibition and sale 2006’ at Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square on January 13. It will be a one day affair where about 50 stalls put up will showcase handmade products prepared by women entrepreneurs that will includes paperwork, statues, block print Dhaka material, some food products

and more. “The objective behind organising such event, that too at Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square is to encourage women entrepreneurship and at the same time promote their products in both the national and international market,” says Bina Gautam Shakya, managing director, Cottage Handicrafts Exhibition and Sales, New Road.
