LOS ANGELES: Tom Hanks is America’s favourite movie star for the second year in a row, according to a poll. The survey of 1,001 adults cited Johnny Depp as second on the list while John Wayne, who died more than 25 years ago, and Harrison Ford were tied in third spot. Rounding out the top five was Julia Roberts, the poll released on January 20 by Garris Interactive says. Clint Eastwood was in sixth place, while Mel Gibson was in seventh spot. George Clooney was eighth, followed by Sean Connery, with Sandra Bullock rounding out the top 10.
