April 27 is celebrated here as Mother’s Day.

A mother is the person who gives us birth and brings us into this beautiful world.

She is the one who loves her children from her heart, takes care of us and teaches us to

walk and talk.

We will always children for our mothers. It is our duty that we take care of our mothers always.

All mothers love their children, not only human beings but also animals, birds, sea creatures and others, too. If there were no mothers then there would be no world.

Baishakh 14 is a special day for mothers. It is the day when all children offer their mother sweets, gifts et cetera. In Nepal it is known as Aama ko mukh herne din. It is a special day for all mothers and for her children. All their children visit their mothers if they are not living with their mothers.

All mothers love their children more than anything else in the world and they are even ready to die for their children. When a child is very small, a mother is unable to sleep properly as she is always thinking about her child.

If a mother can do all these things for us, we should also do something to keep our mothers happy. We have to obey her and love her.

On this Mother’s Day, I would like to wish all mothers a ‘Happy Mothers’ Day’!
