HOLLYWOOD: Anne Hathaway is the latest actress rumoured to be up for the role of villain Black Cat in Spider-Man 4.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the Devil Wears Prada star has been approached by producers to star in the latest instalment in the superhero saga.

Julia Stiles, Rachel McAdams and Romola Garai have all been linked to the project in recent weeks, but the latter two have ruled out appearing in the film.

Spider-Man 4 is due out in cinemas on May 5, 2011.
