Healer visits city in June

Kathmandu: Hirokazu Kobayashi, a globally acknowledged Japanese spiritual healer, will be arriving in Nepal on June 22, accompanied by 112 other healers. According to Jamuna Kayastha, who will introduce Kobayasi to the city, his visit this time will be of great significance since the guru himself, alongwith his companions, will be praying for peace in Nepal. There will also be public healing sessions conducted by the guru at different places in the valley, a healing session for the elderly at Pashupati and programmes at orphanages and homes. A photo exhibition of “light ball” will be organised at Siddhartha Art Gallery at Babermahal on this occasion. Kobayasi’s following includes leaders, actors and members of civil society as well as US doctor and healer Andrew Weils. This is his second visit to Nepal. His first visit to Nepal in 2002 was a great success. — HNS
