KATHMANDU:

To celebrate International Day for Human Rights on December 10, Department of Social Work at Kadambari Memorial College of Science and Management inaugurated a short term three months certificate course on Political theory and Constitution Building sponsored by International Idea. Students of the college participated in a rally organised by the NGO Federation of Nepal and the Human Rights Alliance. The rally started from Bhrikutimandap and ended at Basantapur. A public hearing was organised that addressed the current situation of Human Rights in Nepal. The college inaugurated a fortnightly journal ‘Prarambha’, for students, to showcase their thoughts.
