For the gaming freaks of the City, here is some good news. Computer gaming zone Virtual World at Maharajgunj is organising a ‘Counter Strike 5 on 5 Tournament’ on February 18 to 20.
According to the organiser Counter Strike is the most famous computer game in the world that has been awarded the best virtual reality game for four consecutive years. This is the only game that has a world-level championship. “It is probably the first time in the country we are organising such a competition,” said proprietor Pushkar Giri.
The tournament will certainly be hit among the the young crowd, especially the teenagers. “We believe this kind of tournament will be beneficial to the youth as it will engage their mind,” he claimed.
Counter Strike is a multiplayer game with five persons in each team — Terrorists (T) and Counter Terrorists (CT) who will fight with real life guns to accomplish their objectives. The terrorists will plant bomb while the counter terrorists will defend the attack and rescue the hostages from the terrorists. (For details contact 4720603)
