Johansson not proud of films

Los Angeles: Scarlett Johansson, the star of ‘Lost in Translation,’ says she is not particularly proud of her films and that acting is a pointless profession. “As actors, we make movies, we don’t save lives. What I do, it’s actually not that important,” she said. “I’m also not proud of my films. That was never a criteria.” She went on to say she would want to make movies that she herself would pay to see. She added, “I definitely want to be in a Tim Burton film.” Speaking about her desire to do some directing, she said, “I would even make an advert.” — HNS
