Pop star Madonna and her director husband Guy Ritchie have reportedly been taking advice from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on adoption.

According to hollyw-ood.com, Jolie has adopted children from Cambodia and Ethiopia and is aware of all the bureaucracy that is involved in the third world. Jolie has even put Madonna in touch with her lawyer to deal with the British authorities. A friend says: “Brad and Angelina know all about the adoption and have been helping Madonna and Guy in every way they can. They know how important it is to them and how difficult the process can be.”

Madonna recently had to defend allegations that she had broken African adoption law. She says, “She has gone about the adoption procedure according to the law, like anyone else who adopts a child.”
