A close source informs us that Kamal Man Singh is planning to open a restaurant in New Road. As it turns out, the source was right. Kamal confirmed it himself, “Yes, I am opening a restaurant which would be very different from the other restaurants in New Road.” According to him the highlight of the restaurant will be its cuisines. “I am planning to add different and new cuisines in the menu at reasonable prices. Besides that the décor would also be differently nice and yes, one will be listening only to Nepali pop music and there are other things, which I don’t want to reveal it now,” informs Kamal. At present he is just waiting for the country’s situation to improve and as soon as he sees a green signal, the new restaurant will zoom into existence.

How would we know the restaurant? The singer chuckles as he says, “It will be called Café 69!” — his favourite number! If you remember, his first solo album is also entitled ‘69’. His second album ‘Looks’ will be released on July 16. A song “Kati Tadpey Ma” directed by Asif Shah from ‘Looks’ has already been aired on various channels and there are two others coming, which will be directed by Alok Nemwang and Simose. — Himalayan News Service
