KATHMANDU: The US-based Media Network is all set to release a song 'Kanchi hey Kanchi' video on April 20, song lyricist Pralhad Rijal informed.

Rijal, who is a working journalist and slam poet, penned down the lyrics for his new song last year before composer and singer Sushant Gautam approached him.

Rijal said, "The song is a projection of native Nepali wit, particularly the kind which makes love birds tweet. I believe the music video will add more glow to the beauty of the song."

According to producer Uddhav Silwal, "A romantic duet song recorded by Kisan Regmi and Shruti Yogi featuring Nepali actress Shilpa Pokhrel and Prithvi Raj Prasai was entirely shot in Godavari of Lalitpur district."

The video is choreographed by Surendra Bashyal and directed by Prakash Dhital, Silwal added.
