Kath Ko Bakas released
KATHMANDU: Poet Chandra Ghimire’s new poetry collection Kath Ko Bakas was launched amidst a programme held on February 13 at Shilpee Theatre, Battisputali.
The book was jointly released by poet Shyamal and essayist Roshan Sherchan, as per a press release issued by Shangrila Books, publisher of the poetry collection.
The authors also discussed on the poems in Kath Ko Bakas. Shyamal focused on development of Chandra’s personality as poet in Nepali literary field. Sherchan, on the other hand talked about the content of the poems. “The poet in this book has used a nostalgic tone to depict beauty of rural life,” the press statement quotes Sherchan as saying.
Meanwhile, two poems from Kath Ko Bakas— Euta Aaimaai Dainiki and Atmaghati Ladaku — were also performed on stage. The performance was directed by Ghimire Yubaraj mentions the press statement.
