SYDNEY: Australian pop diva Kylie Minogue has reportedly asked her French actor boyfriend, Olivier Martinez, to marry and the wedding bells could be ringing in June, according to press reports.

Australian media said Kylie’s younger sister Dannii Minogue let the news of the June marriage slip to friends this week in remarks picked up by the British tabloid News Of The World.

“They’ve been thinking of Paris, Sydney and Barbados, but it’s probably going to be where it’s the hottest,” the newspaper’s website reported Minogue junior as saying.

“Kylie has told her friends in the US and our family at home but that’s it. This is the happiest I’ve seen her — they really suit each other,” she was quoted as saying.

The London-based Kylie, 35, has been dating Martinez, 38, for a year but the pair are yet to officially announce wedding plans. — AFP
