Last term at IES
Preparing for the farewell party at Hyatt it once again occurred to us that time and tide wait for none. It felt just like yesterday when we were attending our lectures as the seniormost students of the school. At this point, it felt strange that the year had passed and we were actually about to graduate.
March 1 of the year 2005 was the farewell party. The events put together and all the performance was one of its kind. We are grateful as the evening has added new memories, among the other wonderful ones, for us to cherish as we move ahead in life. The evening unfolded with lively music, amazing food, beautiful dance numbers, luring gifts and touching words. The most anticipated moment of every farewell party at Ideal- the moment to declare the Mister and Miss Ideal for that particular year came after handing over the prizes for best dress , best sportsperson, best public speaker and so on. The school and the Ideal family had bid farewell and for once, for the first time ever, it felt like we were on our own. Time had arrived for new beginnings, new endeavors and achievements. Looking back at all the fun and play, it feels as if it was all worth it but are now only memories. Memories to cherish and live by.— Shristi and Jebina, Class X, Ideal English School
