Blue belle :

She admires Cindy Crawford 23-year-old Swornima Rajbhandari, who is 5’5” has an almost hourglass figure (33-24-34) . One can call her a multitasker — she works for a renowned advertising house, is pursuing her studies and is also a model. She loves all colours but is a little partial to blue as it is the “colour of the sky”. Her tastes run to Newari food and gundruk sandheko. While she chills out “listening to all kinds of music”, her buddy and her favourite person is her sister Confidence, height and the right attitude are what will turn an ordinary model into a supermodel, says Swornima.

Pretty in pink :

Young and vivacious, that’s 19-year-old Kelsang Youden Lama for you. Though beauty pageants and ramp shows are nothing new for her as she has already participated in Miss Teen Nepal (2003) and the first Sunsilk Nepal Fashion Week held in 2004.

Kelsang’s favourite colour is “pink as it suits me a lot” and her favourite hangout place is Himalayan Java, while she digs Korean food “especially kimba”. Her favourite way to pass time is listening to music and “shopping for belts”. Hypocrites and backbiters be warned for this fiery teen hates anyone who has these shades in his/her personality. She adores her father because he “understands me like no one else”.

The hunt is a good opportunity for us, says Kelsang as it is organised by a “reputable company”.

She admires Tyra Banks for the supermodel’s confidence and for being different from other models. “Confidence, height and good looks” are Kelsang’s criteria to be a supermodel.
